Mass timber, urban life — a healthy mix of living, working, and play.
Set in a walkable district known for small businesses and bike-friendly streets, The Terrace is conceived as a place where daily life stacks gracefully: retail and event space at the ground, homes and hospitality above, shared amenities in between. The goal is simple—create a compact, high-quality urban block where people can live, work, and unwind without leaving the neighborhood. At 90 feet, the building reads as a confident but considerate neighbor. Its massing steps to create terraces and outdoor rooms, giving residents and visitors places to gather in the sun, watch the street, or catch an evening show below. The emphasis is on a healthier city life—more light, more nature, more human-scaled edges.

Minneapolis
Northeast — makers, river, and a walkable rhythm.
Northeast Minneapolis stretches along the Mississippi with a mix of working history and present-day craft—breweries and bakeries next to studios, cobblestones meeting bike lanes, and patios buzzing from morning to late. The Hennepin Avenue Bridge leads to riverfront paths, skyline views, and the iconic Grain Belt sign, while Boom Island Park and Main Street’s patios keep the district outdoors year-round. It’s a neighborhood that rewards walking, lingering, and exploring. The Terrace takes its cues from that rhythm—active edges, open sightlines, and public space stitched directly into the daily life of the street.
